Coach Gilbert is looking forward to a comeback the 2017 CIAA Tournament when her team was eliminted, yet went on to finish Runner-Up in the NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Championship. Flacco is a transfer who spent the 2017 season at Rutgers as a walk-on on the scout team and the 2015 and 2016 seasons at Western Michigan. He played in 13 games total during the 2015 and 2016 seasons at Western Michigan, running for 336 yards, passing for 188 yards and accounting for three TDs. Team camp will be held Friday, June 22, with one-day prospect camps that will feature coaching staffs from the University of Michigan, Boston College, Syracuse and the University of Massachusetts. CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), with its Men’s and Women’s Basketball Coaches Association and Sports Information Directors Association, announces the 2018 Men’s & Women’s Coaches of the Year. The Division I Football Subdivision Athletics Directors Association announced that Morgan State’s Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Edward Scott will serve on its Executive Committee. In the private sector, he was General Counsel for a publicly traded corporation and Assistant Washington Counsel for a major trade association. The Trojans have had some major victories this season including wins over Norfolk State University, Pitt-Johnson University, and Indiana (PA) University. Much of his career was spent working for Members of Congress and state legislators in positions such as Chief of Staff, General Counsel, Legislative Director, Press Secretary, and Legislative Assistant.
